Training is a process and takes time. As humans, we must be taught many things as we go through life. The same is true for our dogs. Patience and understanding goes a long way in learning to teach our dogs better behaviours. My role is to guide you and your dog to learn those better behaviours, step by step.
Since beginning my career with dogs in 2005, I have been delving deeper into the world of canine behaviour to further my knowledge and skills working with dogs. I have attended conferences both in Canada and abroad, taken multiple courses and am continuing to do so. I am committed to continuously updating my skills and to utilize science based positive training modalities. Learning how dogs think, behave, and react in situations, and the why for each behaviour is paramount. Each dog is a unique individual and I am always sure to note that in each training session. I continue to expand my knowledge by staying up to date with the leading research on canine cognition and behaviour.
